![]() Would be great to edit game date to set it at an earlier time. So yeah, trainers are the only way to speed things up really. It's like I said above, if you want to carry your save into Shenmue 2 and complete the Fangmei birthday event, then ideally you want to start Shenmue 2 in late January / early February at the latest. I just gave up on throw moves, there is no way you can max them out and complete the whole game before February in game. The only way to practice throw moves is with Fuku-san in the dojo once a day, but you can only perform a move 8 times each session, that means you need to practice that move everyday for about 20 days to max it out and without checking your move progress in that time. ![]() There is a bug in the game where the move your are practising doesn't progress if you look at your current progress before performing the move 10 times. Training moves is a pain and time consuming too, and the throw moves are almost impossible to max out. I tried this and I personally didn't notice any difference, it still felt like I was winning prizes at the same rate as any other day in the game. Apparently the odds of winning increase on special days like Christmas day and New Years too, so it may be a good idea to go for the prizes on those days. If you don't win anything, just reload your game and try again. Basically, you could buy about 50 prize winning cans from the soda machines and just keep trading them for raffle tickets until you get the prizes you want. There may be a slightly quicker way to win the prizes from shops and capsule machines, it requires a fair bit of saving and reloading though. Gold and Silver Dural and the very rare Sega Capsule toys took me ages to find. Seriously though, there is no quick way outside of cheating from what I have seen because the capsule toys, raffle prizes and slots depend on luck. ![]() Trainers and Cheat Engine XD There is a trainer that stops time, freezes your money and speeds up your movement in game, so you could practice all of your moves, find all capsule toys and win all prizes in a single in game day if you wanted to. Streaming, gaming and other high-capacity activities demand a certain amount of bandwidth speed to get the best experience without a lot of buffering or lag. If you have multiple devices and several family members on them at the same time, you'll need more bandwidth to keep up. So if bandwidth is the max amount of data, throughput is how much of that data makes it to its destination – taking latency, network speed, packet loss and other factors into account. Throughput is how much information actually gets delivered in a certain amount of time. If bandwidth is the amount of information sent per second, latency is the amount of time it takes that information to get from its source to you. It's the lag you experience while waiting for something to load. Latency is sometimes referred to as delay or ping rate. What’s your internet speed? Take the speed test. Think of the water as the bandwidth and the rate at which the water flows as the speed. If the bathtub faucet has a wide opening, more water can flow at a faster rate than if the pipe was narrower. Bandwidth vs speedīandwidth is how much information you receive every second, while speed is how fast that information is received or downloaded. We're here to help set the record straight. Some internet terms are so similar that they’re often confused with each other. In other words, you won't have to manually drag and drop a Corel Draw file you received via email just save it to a shared folder, launch the respective app in Windows, and start editing the image. This combined with shared cloud folders streamlines workflow, especially since it means another neat feature of Parallels – drag and drop – is no longer necessary to share data between the two operating systems. ![]() By default, Parallels Desktop provides something they call a “Shared Profile”, which shares the user's home folder with Windows. When it comes to sharing, virtual machines are a relief because they make possible what is impossible via Boot Camp: sharing folders and files between systems. Simply put, Parallels Desktop won’t put too much strain on modern hardware. ![]() Data transfer times are just as snappy, too, for example a 4.7 GB file from macOS to Windows 10 and vice-versa took only 30 seconds to copy over via USB-C. Meanwhile, directly clicking on a Windows-only file on the Mac system will speed up boot time to just 20 seconds, while it takes only 10 seconds if Parallels was already open. We tested the program on a MacBook Pro (late 2016) and the boot times of Parallels for Mac performed quite well, taking only 27 seconds to launch both Parallels and Windows 10. Virtual machines can be configured so that they start automatically alongside macOS or whenever Parallels Desktop is launched. Windows 10 under Parallels also supports the macOS function Quick Look, which is very helpful indeed. Travel Mode, for example, will prolong battery life unless you start playing games on the Windows platform, the latter of which is possible thanks to in-built DirectX support. Launching Parallels Desktop will have a noticeable impact on the Mac's performance since it is sharing the computer’s limited resources with a whole other operating system at the same time, however the developers have done a terrific job of optimizing the software's performance to lower the energy and resource impact that it has on the system. It’s very convenient to be able to get started using Windows 10 without an install disk or to transfer apps and files from an older PC using the Parallels Transfer app. But the main reason regular users might install Parallels or its competitors is for standard Windows. Parallels Desktop provides a variety of free systems, covering the likes of a Windows 10 Development environment, a Modern IE environment, a handful of Linux operating systems (with the key ones being Ubuntu, Fedora, and Debian/GNU), Android and even macOS 10.13.4 from the Recovery Partition. ![]() Using a virtual machine allows the whole disk formatting step to be skipped and instead proceed with directly installing the desired operating system. It does so by delivering virtual desktops and applications to any device, running Windows on a Mac, Mac management with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), remote access to PC and Mac computers from any device, as well as simplifying common computing tasks on both PC and Mac computers. The company behind Parallels Desktop is Washington-based Parallels Inc., creators of cross-platform software enabling businesses and individuals to use their favorite devices and technology on any number of platforms, covering everything from Windows, Mac and mobile to Linux, Raspberry Pi or the cloud. In addition to the 14-day trial, a Parallels purchase is protected by the company’s 30-day money-back guarantee. All that for as low as $6.66 per month, which includes a handy toolset and remote access to the computer desktop. Alongside eliminating the need to reboot into the desired operating system, it's also speedy enough to launch, suspend, and resume Windows and its apps without ever interfering with your activities. If your time is shared almost equally between macOS and Windows, then Parallels Desktop 13 is a welcome addition to your workflow.
